Operations Director

Reporting to the Executive Director (ED), the Operations Director will have both internal and external facing responsibilities, ranging from client and project management (business development, framing of key approaches, high-quality client delivery, written products) to administration (information technology, reporting, facilities), and human capital (HR/recruiting, mentoring, career progression). The Operations Director will partner closely with the ED to chart BusyGal HELPS Foundation’s future growth and strategic response to an ever-increasing demand for the organization’s services.

Development Director

Reporting to the Executive Director (ED), the Development Director serves as a key leadership team member and an active participant in making strategic decisions affecting BusyGal HELPS Foundation. In partnership with the ED, this position is responsible for all fundraising and development activities. The successful candidate will help forge new relationships to build BusyGal HELPS Foundation's visibility, impact, and financial resources. The Development Director also will design and implement a comprehensive plan for developing key external alliances by cultivating individual, celebrity, and philanthropic support.

Grants Manager: Corporations, Foundations, & Governmental Entities

The Grants Manager (Corporations, Foundations, & Governmental Entities) is a full time position that reports directly to the Development Director.  The Grants Manager is a key member of the Development Team and is responsible for managing and monitoring ALL grant funding related activities.  The Grants Manager will work closely with BusyGal HELPS Foundation leadership to assure that grant funding activities are executed appropriately and accurately with strict adherence to deadlines.  The Grants Manager is responsible for all aspects of grant management from proposal through close out.  The successful candidate is methodical and strategic and works to enhance BusyGal HELPS Foundation’s funding models, identifies new sources of funding, and develops sustainable and effective grants programs.

Donor Relations Manager

The Donor Relations Manager (Focus: Major Gifts Donations & High Net Worth Individuals) is a full time position that reports directly to the Development Director.  The Donor Relations Manager is responsible for developing and implementing engagement and fundraising strategies to enhance and grow revenue and current and prospective donors.  The Donor Relations Manager also provides comprehensive administrative assistance to the Development Director, with a focus on general operating, office and fundraising support, effective database management and reporting, event logistics and donor stewardship efforts (acknowledgements, printed material inventory, prep materials for donor meetings).  As necessary, the Donor Relations Manager will recruit and supervise volunteers to help with department efforts.  Paramount to this position is the ability to work with a high degree of independence, and juggle various projects at once, while maintaining a clear view of how each project supports the organization’s mission.

Finance & Business Management Director

The Finance and Business Management Director will be a strategic thought-partner, and report to the Executive Director (ED).  The successful candidate will be a hands-on manager and will lead and develop the following areas: finance, business planning and budgeting, administration, and IT.  The Finance and Business Management Director will play a critical role in partnering with the senior leadership team in strategic decision making and operations as BusyGal HELPS Foundation continues to enhance its quality programming and build capacity.  This is a tremendous opportunity for a finance and operations leader to maximize and strengthen the internal capacity of a well-respected, high-impact organization.

Communications Director

Reporting to the Executive Director (ED), and serving as an integral member of the senior management team, the Communications Director will be responsible for the development of BusyGal HELPS Foundation's communication strategy and will contribute to BusyGal HELPS Foundation's organizational strategic planning process.  The Communications Director will develop a world-class communications plan for BusyGal HELPS Foundation, directly managing communications activities that promote, enhance, and protect the organization's brand reputation.  The Communications Director will be responsible for the development, integration, and implementation of a broad range of public relations activities relative to the strategic direction and positioning of the organization and its leadership. This individual will be an ambassador for the organization and will need to build relationships with the media.

Senior Marketing Manager

Reporting to the Communications Director, the Senior Marketing Manager will be responsible for the development and implementation of BusyGal HELPS Foundation's marketing strategy.  The Senior Marketing Manager will develop a world-class marketing strategy for BusyGal HELPS Foundation, directly managing all marketing activities that promote, enhance, and protect the organization's brand reputation.  The Senior Marketing Manager will be an energetic and intuitive marketing strategist with exceptional leadership and communication skills.  S/He must have proven ability to identify opportunities and deliver effective strategies to generate results. This person must be experienced in strategic marketing planning, branding, and product/service development as well as being adept in online and traditional marketing, and highly skilled in visual communications.

Program

Manager (4)

BusyGal HELPS Foundation is hiring 4 Program Managers to handle it’s programming initiatives.  Each Program Manager is a full time position that reports directly to the Operations Director while working closely with the Executive Director and the leadership team.  Program Managers are responsible for all aspects of management for their assigned programs.  Each Program Manager is responsible for creating high quality, culturally responsive programming that provides comprehensive and meaningful experiences for women who want to be entrepreneurs.  Each manager is responsible for governance, which involves working with the over-arching structure, processes and procedures to accomplish objectives, which include metrics of success and deliverables of BusyGal Helps Foundation.  The Program Initiatives include the following: the BusyGal Television (BGTV) Initiative, the 40 Women Over 40 and 40 Veteran Women Over 40 Initiatives, the WE/40 IGNITE Initiative, and the Ruby Slippers Initiative.

Office Manager/
Executive Assistant to the Executive Director

Reporting to the Executive Director (ED), the Office Manager/Executive Assistant serves as the key gatekeeper and right arm to the Executive Director, her office and leadership team. 

As Office Manager the success candidate is responsible for managing the front desk receptionist, all secretaries, and organizational communications including calls to the BusyGal HELPS Foundation, communication with the board and executive committee on behalf of the Executive Director and President of the Board, as well as communication with community agencies, press, vendors, volunteers and direct service clients.

As Executive Assistant the successful candidate will be responsible for the administrative and organizational management of the office.  S/He will be experienced in handling a wide range of administrative and executive support related tasks, will be exceedingly well organized and flexible, and will enjoy the administrative challenges of supporting an office of diverse people and programs.  This individual must be able to function effectively in a variety of roles within a dynamic environment under minimum supervision.  

This position requires frequent communication and coordination on behalf of the Executive Director with government officials, celebrities, and high level business persons, so it is essential that a professional, warm and sophisticated demeanor coupled with tact and grace be a personality attribute.
